What do you do with your old hard drive.

Most individuals simply try to toss an old hard drive in the trash. They don’t worry much about data that may still be on that old drive. Some will either high lever or low level format the drive in hopes that that will effectively destroy any data they had on the drive. Company worry more about the secure hard data drive destruction. They know that other companies and governments have hard disk forensic analysis experts that make careers out of recovering data thought to be securely erased. Governments especially worry about the lost of classified data to the point of seeking methods of secure hard data drive destruction even to the point of completely melting down the hard drive.
