Everyone knows someone who has an Ipod that is full of songs that they never bought – they downloaded them for free from the internet. This type of media is known as public domain. Public domain media is work that has an expired license (for example, it was created more than 50 or 100 years ago), it is a traditional song or piece of art, or it is a piece of music or art that was intentionally created to remain in the public domain.The only reliable way to make sure you are using public domain is to access a verifiable public domain list.
