Using Drifts on Your Air Hockey Game Table

By admin | August 12, 2009

Different shots, a. K. A “drifts,” became more than a little advanced over the years. The puck flies across the air hockey table in set patterns, built to throw off your contestant’s expectancies and score a goal. More than this, the drifts are occasionally grouped into sets, where you purposely hit the puck in a way that sends it flying back so you can hit it again in fast succession to further confuse the person accross from you on the air hockey game table. And there’s even more! “Combos,” or hitting the puck in a way that makes it look like you are going for a particular drift ( or at least hitting the puck in a particular direction ), but which ( due to spin or fast movement ) flies the other way, or into a different drift.
