Your Name on a Keychain

I thought it would be a nice gesture to get my fiancé a ring with his name on it. Everyone always told me that personalized jewelry is a great gift when you are in a relationship. I did not expect the reaction I got when I gave it to him. Little did I know that he did not wear jewelry. He hated rings, and even took off his watch, unless he had to wear it. I was really upset that he could find no use of this special gift, and I knew that he could tell that from the way I reacted. The next day he came over and I saw the ring on his keychain. I was flattered that he came up with an alternative. He explained that he loved the idea of the gift, and would keep it close to him at all times. This made me feel a lot better.
