My husband and I met in our late 40’s. Neither of us had ever been married. It wasn’t love at first sight but there was no doubt we were meant to be together. My romantic husband proposed on a fabulous sleigh ride on a cold and snowy night in New England. Of course our wedding was the highlight of my life, but I will never forget the surprise of my engagement. After our wedding celebrations my husband presented me with a most fabulous gift. It’s a roman numeral jewelry pendant. The pendant displays the date of our engagement. I’m the luckiest girl in the world.
