Are There Short Term Health Insurance That Is Affordable?

Short term health insurance is generally affordable. Most plans tend to offer services which are covered in a regular insurance plan. Even students can afford short term health insurance as it is inexpensive, although this type of insurance is not permanent nor does it take the place of a regular insurance. It is an ideal plan for people who temporarily lose their usual coverage due to the death of a spouse or divorce. An advantage to this insurance is that a medical examination to sign up is not needed unless you are over sixty and have not had a health check up for a long time. Even though cheap, you should not buy sub standard short term health insurance. It may be an affordable plan but your needs still must be met in order for it to be cost effective as a health protector for any future medical issues.
