Why use them?

There are several reasons why using a water filter system is a good idea. There may be water contaminants in your drinking water making it unsafe to drink. You may not be able to see or smell them but they could be there none the less. Some of these contaminants are agricultural pollutants, heavy metals such as lead, sediment such as rust, microbial cysts, and industrial pollutants. According the EPA, if people consume contaminants at levels over the EPA’s standards, then for a period of many years, then chronic effects can occur. So why not try to alleviate any problems before they start, and start using a filter system today, if nothing else but for peace of mind.
