By admin | July 17, 2008
Portable air conditioning is the alternative technology for the apartment buildings where the normally used fixed window or wall AC units are difficult to put up. Portable AC units are building up on casters. Hence it can be shifted from one place to another. Unlike the normally used AC units portable AC units doesn’t need to put near the window.
Portable AC unit works on the basis of self-evaporating technology. This technology reduces the number of times the unit to be drained. The accretion of water due to the dehumidification is fatigued through the central venting hose. Portable AC normally has a fan and a timer. Remote control facility is employed in the digital thermostat in these devices. Most of the portable air conditioning units have an added feature of washable activated carbon filter.
