We Should be Able to Pay it Back

A few months ago, my brother presented my husband with a great opportunity. He knows a mortgage broker who is looking for investors. The broker’s company does a lot of loans, but he recently had one of his employees steal some money from him. He needs help getting his company to recover from this loss. If we invest, he has promised us a third of his profits every month. But we don’t have the money he is asking for. So we are considering getting a conveyancing solicitor and remortgaging our house. We should be able to pay it back with the returns on our investment.
