Styles of furniture

My definition of style used to be what you could afford, not necessarily what you liked. However, I have discovered that most people prefer a certain style of furniture.
There are many very different styles, such as: modern furniture, contemporary furniture, Italian furniture, European furniture, designer furniture, and even retro furniture. Are you overwhelmed yet? That is just the beginning. There is also Victorian Style, shaker Style, Spanish Style and Waterfall Style.
How do you sort them all out? I have no idea! Someone needs to design a little quiz for us in which we answer a few simple questions. Then, presto, you are given the answer. Instead, I guess I’ll have to do more research!
