Protestant to Jewish Conversion

I really enjoyed the episode on Sex and the City where Charlotte begins her conversion to Judaism. She does so in order to have a more serious relationship with her Jewish boyfriend Harry. She begins her education by reading about the Jewish faith and then attempts to schedule a meeting with a rabbi. She is initially shunned by the rabbi as he found her too waspy. Eventually she makes the jewish conversion and leaps whole heartedly into matza ball making and hannukah. However, at one point in the show, when she doesnt feel like Harry truly appreciates the sacrifices she has made in order to convert, she yells at Harry "I gave up Jesus for you." He retaliated that it was going to be a very painful relationship if she was going to use that everytime she was upset with him. In the end, the conflict was resolved and Charlotte remained a very happy converted Jew.
