Front Load Dryer Vent Cleaning

So, it has occured to you that it is now taking longer to dry your garments. And maybe you have received a postcard from a company offering to wash your garments dryer vents. Like many folk, you are also maybe wondering if front load dryer vent cleaning is truly necessary. It’s been announced that in 1998 garments dryers were associated with 15,600 fires, which ended in twenty deaths and 370 wounds. The article goes on to explain that fires can happen when lint builds up in the dryer or in the exhaust channel. Lint can build up inside the dryer even if you clean the lint trap regularly. So, yes, it is a good idea to have it cleaned as directed.
