Many people find collecting antique glass a most rewarding hobby. It is very enjoyable collecting old glass due to the wide and varied selection available. You can choose to purchase pieces of antique glass from many different eras. One of the more popular choices collectors choose to purchase is called carnival glass. Also available is a type of glass referred to as carnivale glass. This glass dates back to 1907 when it was first produced. Initially the carnival glass was called Iridescent Ware due to its shiny metallic finish which changes depending on how the light shines on it or how it is moved. You can choose from colours like purple, orange, green or even white. White carnival glass is often referred to as milk glass.
