The Master Cleanse diet and the 3 day hump

Workout, diet and energy programs all have one thing in common: The hump one must get over initially to gain results before you are able to maintain them. Usually this happens within the first week, and sometimes most prominently within the first couple of days of using a system. The master cleanse diet is an example of this. Though proven to be effective for years upon years, the master cleanse diet has a proverbial hump around the 3 day mark after one starts. In this system it is critical the person get past these critical days, so their body can be shocked enough into feeling comfortable about adapting to the diet. There are several newsletters and articles on this issue, and almost every one says get past day 3 for motivation.
