our body the machine

By admin | August 3, 2008

Our body (our castle) is a finely tuned machine that is designed to be self- maintained for the most part. Though we may have to get the occasional hair cut and trim our nails, our body is remarkably able to take care of itself.  Think about all of the things your body does without you having to think: breathing, blinking, digestion, beating heart, etc. The same is true of maintaining weight. Our body tries at all times to keep  extra fat cells to survive food shortages. Though this may be a bit little irritating to us today, it was vital to our forfathers who might go days without food. This is why eating less without the aid of drugs like Acomplia is very difficult. You are actually going against the body’s own survival instinct.
