There are millions of people in the world who experience some sort of drug relapse after they’ve already been addicted to something before. The same is true for alcoholics. All it takes is that one sip of alcohol for an alcoholic to fall back into the pits of alcoholism again. For all the talk about trying to stay on the right path towards recovery, it is sometimes extremely difficult for someone who has already been a drug or alcohol addict before to maintain that path towards goodness. In other words, they can’t do it alone. This is why it is so important to have a support system; people you can trust, who care for you. There is nothing worse than knowing that something happened to someone that could’ve been prevented. One person can make a difference in the life of someone else. This is something that we should all remember.
