Becoming a Nurse
By admin | August 22, 2009
My daughter recently informed me of her newest idea of becoming a nurse. We’ll see how long this idea sticks around. I told her to go and volunteer at a nursing home before she makes any decisions. You know how these kids get with their whims. I guess I was giving her a little too much grief because she started to yell at me and said, “how can you not understand why I want to be a nurse.” It turns out she got the idea after she saw how her grandmother was treated with such compassion by a nurse on a recent trip to a hospital. I like the fact that she has a goal, I’m just not sure if it will last.
