Acne scar treatment for adults with blemished skin

During my childhood I suffered acne which is a common affliction for many teenagers. In my case, although it cleared up, the scars have remained indented in my skin. Recently I decided that it was time to look into acne scar treatment. There are many new and advanced forms of treatment that can be used to repair the skin. A friend of mine informed me of this option so I have started to investigate some of the different treatments. Some are more expensive than others so doing a little background research will help me get a better understanding of what is available before I pursue a professional consultation.
