What Comes Next?

A friend and I have decided we want to become electricians, and are looking into attending an electrician trade school training program. We know that is the first step to becoming an electrician. However, I am still not quite sure what we need to do after the training program in order to become electricians. I have heard about different levels of electricians as well, and don’t know what needs to be done in order to get to those higher levels like Master Electrician. I would assume experience has something to do with it. But can we get a good job right out of trade school? Or is there some other step that needs to be completed first?
