My sister was in town and she and I were sitting together on the couch with my 8-year-old daughter. I forget what we were talking about exactly but my daughter told her I was graphic designer. I said, no, I work at a graphic design firm but we do other things too, like Ann Arbor advertising and web design. And my sister thought it was odd that I made the distinction about working at place in which design happened as opposed to being a graphic designer. But it seems to me that this is a specific skill set, one in which I don’t have. Do you think it’s odd to decipher?
