Options Trading Basics

If you are new to Options Trading then read on. I am going to cover the basics of Options trading.
Options are traded on several of the stock exchanges located in the USA. As such they come under the scrutiny of the SEC.
Options are simply contracts between two parties. The option gives the holder the right to buy or sell a security (most likely a stock) at a fixed price and at an agreed time.
Having the contract does not force you into the sale or purchase of stocks. The contract could simply be left to expire. You can have options trading explained if you look around for more information on the internet.
