Office Furniture Decisions

My wife and I are starting a home based business and need to buy some office furniture. All three of our children have grown up and moved away so we have lots of extra room in our house. We are knocking down some wall in order to give us a nice big office space. We had originally planned on buying furniture from a local store or perhaps order it online. We have been looking in the paper and have found a great deal of second hand furniture being sold at very reasonable prices. My wife want to buy the new furniture, but I would really like to save some money.
