How much do you know about the company?

Research the company before you make a decision concerning owning a franchise. Will you have the necessary knowledge that you will need to make your new business a success? Will the company selling the franchise be able to provide you with the training necessary to acquire the needed knowledge and skills? If not, look somewhere else either in an area where you have more expertise or in an area where they will provide you with all the training you need. The company selling the franchise should have just a much of an interest in your being a success as you do.
