After you buy a house there are so many things that come up that you never expected. All of the sudden we need lots of new stuff. We have to buy a lawn mower, a snow blower, a ladder, and a rake. We soon need to find ourselves an electrician, a vinyl siding repairman, and a locksmith. Then we have to consider later on whether mortgage refinancing makes sense, whether we should buy mortgage insurance, and whether we should switch our car insurance and home insurance to the same provider to possibly save money on the premiums. So many decisions come up that we never imagined before we got our house!
