I have heard that in order to compete in the foreclosures for sale market you really have to have an inside lead or a lot of money to compete against the big investors our there. Unless you happen to know of a quiet neighborhood where a mishap lead a family to accidentally lose their home how would you know about a foreclosure? By the time the public hears about a foreclosure, then the banks and other investors would know as well and they would have more money to throw at a property. And if they did not buy the property then they might know something you do not and maybe you should stay clear of the property as well.
