College Grants
By admin | May 30, 2008
There are four main grants for college available through the federal government including Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG). In order to qualify for a FSEOG you must be an undergraduate in exceptional financial need and expecting to receive little if any financial aid from your family. It will also healp if you have already qualified for the award of a Pell grant, as students in receipt of Pell grants will receive priority in the allocation of FSEOGs. The amount of the grant varies from as little as $100 to as much as $4,000 and the amount you receive will depend upon the date of your application, your financial need and the financial aid policies of your college, which administers the grant.
