A New Career Path

We recently found out that our neighbor is looking for a new career. He’s been in the construction business for more than 10 years. During those years, he’s been hands-on in doing the majority of the work. But, now that he’s older, the work is getting harder on his body. While trying to still stay in a similar line of work, he’s looking into buying foreclosure homes. A foreclosure investment will allow him to buy a house at a lower cost, use his construction skills to renovate and improve the house and then sell it, hopefully, for a profit. The number of foreclosure homes is up, so it’s likely he will succeed in finding a home to buy. Whether he does well enough to make a career of it, I guess we’ll find out.
