Driving Around the Piedmont

Raleigh is located in what is referred to as the "piedmont" section of North Carolina. There are plenty of things to see and do as it is also conveniently located just a few hours from the mountains as well as only an hour from the beach. If you’re planning a trip down, you’ll more than likely want to rent a car in North Carolina. Renting gives a lot of people more options for when they travel. Due to increased mobility (ex: airplanes, trains and buses), more people are leaving the comfort of their homes and venturing out. For a lot of people, this usually requires getting a plane ticket. But what do you do next once you get off the plane? Rent a car. Renting a car gives you the freedom to not have to rely on other sources of transportation to get yourself around. There are also many benefits, such as not putting all of those miles on your own vehicle!
