Are European car models unfamiliar to Americans?
By admin | July 20, 2008
If you are an American renting or purchasing a left hand drive vehicle in Europe, don’t worry! There will be plenty of makes and models to choose from that you will recognize from back home. From Fords to Porsches, there is something for every taste and budget, even for those folks from across the pond. One difference you will notice, however, is that many of the exact same models may not use the same type of fuel. Americans are accustomed to personal use vehicles requiring unleaded fuel, and diesel fuel being used almost exclusively by business use vehicles such as the ubiquitous 18-wheeler. However, personal use vehicles in Europe that require diesel fuel are common, while otherwise identical models that use petrol, as it is referred to there, are also available.
