How To Tune Your Guitar
By admin | March 14, 2008
If you’ve just started to learn how to play guitar (whether you play acoustic or electric) you should learn how to tune your guitar correctly.
You see, when you first start out, your ear will become accustomed to the sound of your guitar and the notes it makes. If you play slightly out of tune, it will soon start to sound normal – and when it comes to playing with other people if may be harder. Learning to tune your guitar is one of the basic guitar lessons that all guitarists must learn.
Thankfully, it’s very easy to learn to tune your guitar. Or if you’re lazy (like many guitarists!) you can take the easy option and invest in an electronic guitar tuner. This will allow you to tune your guitar without using pitch pipes or training your ear.
